Hello RUMUS Support, I am trying to get the microphone and headset to work together on my toshiba satellite C55D-B5310 laptop. It seems that the microphone input only works when the usb is plugged in by itself and not the audio jack(green). When I plug the usb and the audiojack I only only heard soundaudio, but microphone input does not work when I am trying to speak. Please advise on what I should do.
Thanks for your time and effort on this issue.
Really appreciate that.
If possible, may i know whether your laptop has only one headphone jack (use 3.5 mm plug)or two jacks for both sound and audio(combine the 2in1 splitter)?
Here I attached a picture for your reference.
After that step, please click the speaker icon at the bottom banner of your PC--Recording devices--Mic to check whether it is recognized.
Last but not least, please notify that the USB jack is only used for the LED light.
You won't see the USB icon or disk driver showing in your computer banner.
I attached a video about how to set up headset on windows 10.
Hope it may help.
The lights only work plugged into the usb on the PS4 or Xbox1 S...they don’t turn on while plugged into controller...am I doing something wrong?
Hello from RUNMUS Support.
Please notify that the USB jack is only used for the LED light and it can be plugged into any kinds of USB power port like your console ,wall charger, power bank, etc. You can not plug the USB cable into your contoller.
Im having trouble getting it to work on my Xbox one how do I set it up?
Hello from Runmus Support,
So sorry about the inconvenience brought to you.
May I know if your controller is old version xbox one or xbox one s/x?
1, If your controller is old version xbox one without 3.5mm jack, then a Microsoft adapter would be needed.
2, If your controller is new version xbox one s/x with 3.5mm jack, then you could plug headset plug into your controller directly.
Would you please help us confirm few details as below?
1. Plug the headset 3.5 mm cord into your xbox one controller directly( Note: please do not use the extension piece(2 in 1 splitter) )
2. Please make sure the microphone mute button on the cord is"off".
3. Hit the "Menu" button on your Xbox One controller to open the console menu > select "Settings." You can now adjust the Headset volume, Headset Chat Mixer, and Mic Monitoring.
Please make sure the headset mic is "on".
Attention: If this solution doesn't solve your problem, would you please try the headset on your other devices(such as phone or laptop) to see if it works?
If the headset works on your phone, we suspect it's your xbox one controller problem.
Meanwhile, We investigated this problem and found some xbox one users had the same problem like you do.
